I disagree with the progam/documentation change request.
Split is the radio function invoked for 'rig split', and it is documented well online,
how the system uses rig split to control the audio frequency best use window.
I feel; 'TX Shift' would cause more confusion, as it still does not describe the process, and may be confused
with other 'shift' functions. The technical description is a factual; function of the radio, should not be
seen as a threat to ssb/cw users, and their use of 'split' . FT8 is a different world.
Here, 'split' is another use of the radio function. Those confused, should google the subject.
