I'm using WSJT-X ver 2.6.1 on a Win 8.1 laptop. I have been using OmniRig as my radio interface for many months and the only issue has been that first start after a new installation WSJT-X will fail to connect to OmniRig. It always connected ok for second and subsequent starts.
Now I cannot connect to OmniRig with either ver 2.6.1 or with other older WSJ-X version I still have installed. I have other apps that use OmniRig and these connect and operate properly. OmniRig client runs fine in isolation. HDSDR and CW skimmer both connect to OmniRig either with client already running or without client running. It is only WSJT-X that is unable to connect to OmniRig. I have re-installed OmniRig with no change. I have verified that WSJT-X will connect to DXLab Commander. I have tried various saved WSJT-X configurations but none of these will connect to OmniRig. I know of no recent changes to my computer configuration that would have caused WSJT-X to no longer connect to OmniRig. Does anyone have any ideas what steps I can take to diagnose the problem or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks and 73, Andy, k3wyc
