I was playing around on 20m this afternoon and was trying to make a contact in Wales when I noticed that I was only putting out about 10W. When I'm closer to the center I aim to put out about 50W.
If split operation is "a thing" already, why not more aggressively try to center the frequency? I don't see any reason to wait until after I exceed 2000Hz or shift up 0.5kHz. Thanks, Richard KF5OIM
