Yes  I have been using without port number, Just the radios host name.

It  appears to me that 240712 included a hamlib (2024-07-10) that dropped or 
busted the recently included Flex cat function bypassing SSDR CAT  and 
providing by slice rigs.
Replacing hamlib with 2024-06-30 restored the function.
