You say nothing about why your observation of "fuzz" should be
interesting or informative. Without screen shots or guidance about what
you're after, it's impossible to comment usefully.

I experimented with different AGC settings to eliminate that as a factor
but I found no correlation. K8R is barely moving my S meter off the
zero stop when decoding at +9 so the "fuzz" artifact does not appear to
be RX overload.
