Hi, there should not be any need to use the default audio device for the WSJT-X 
signal transmission. If your computer has only a single audio device, then you 
cannot use that for both purposes, I assume. You need to use an external audio 
codec in that case. 
In short, the WSJT-X audio device should not be a Windows audio device.
