Hi Hasan! I have too much respect for Joe and WSJTX project to just be thinking about making a troll!
I used the Uwe improved version some time ago, but I am a true methodic man then I switched back to the Joe version. The only part of my ham radio environment which is not methodical is the operating system since I use opensuse tumbleweed, which is a rolling distribution ☺️ I'm fine now, my worries have disappeared, then everything is "on place". 73 de Marco PY1ZRJ. Marco, If you want to see a shorter development cycle, look for WSJT-X Improved Plus by Uwe, DG2YCB, who is part of the development team. He produces many updates, particularly to the UI and how the code interacts with the users, many of which end up with the mainstream releases by the full team. If you want to disabuse yourself of the notion that WSJT-X is approaching E.O.L, (which is ridiculous on the face of it), download WSJT-X Improved Plus and use it. It is far from EOL, and neither is the standard version which Joe has addressed about.
