I am resurrecting this old thread, because I was browsing my mail archives in search for Watir license, and I found it.
http://watir.com/ says (in the sidebar) Watir uses BSD. http://github.com/bret/watir/blob/master/watir/lib/license.rb has "(based on BSD Open Source License)" http://github.com/bret/watir/blob/master/commonwatir/README.txt has "(The MIT License)" I am just a bit confused. (I am preparing for a talk on Watir next week.) Željko
