i am attempting to create a testing page on a webserver. this testing page will
display the results of various tests performed by watir against different
websites.

for example, lets say a user wants to run a test on www.example.com. they will
navigate to the watir testing page, select the site they want to test and then
a watir script will execute on the box running the webserver which will in turn
update a file that the testing page will read and display the results.

i work within a group of people, all of whom are in various locations and all
of whom will need to run healthchecks against different websites. instead of
everyone installing ruby and watir on their machines (in some cases not
possible, b/c windows is not used) i would like to create one centralized
location where everyone can go to execute the healthchecks. i really hope this
makes sense.

anyway, the problem i am sure you can imagine is that whenever the watir script
is executed remotely it hangs b/c it cannot create an instance of internet
explorer (at least that is what i am assuming).

any one have any ideas how this can be accomplished? i just recently learned of
[PsExec|http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/PsExec.mspx],
but i have no clue if that will even do me any good. i will begin researching
it while i wait for a response to this post.

thank you in advance for your help.
