I am having the problem with the link of the following form:

<a href=""><u>Sign in</u></a>

And it appears that the both lines below can not find the link to click:
ie.link(:name, "Sign in").click
ie.link(:name, "<u>Sign in</u>").click

On execution I get error:
c:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/watir.rb:1979:in `object_exist_check': Unable
to
locate object, using name and <u>Sign in</u>
(Watir::Exception::UnknownObjectExc
eption)

Does anyone know how to solve this?
Link itself is not part of any form, it is placed in a simple table, and I
am using Watir 1.4.1.

TIA

The portion of data you are looking at is the "text" of the link, not the name...

so,

ie.link( :text, "Sign in" ).click

should work.
