Title: RE: [WTW] request for information

Dave,

Good Morning.  In Canton we do provide our clients with used car package and list to loan closing.  In the packet there is a list of car dealers and mechanics in our area that we have developed relationships with.  However, these are only verbal.  I send each car dealer a letter that explains the program.  It also expresses the need to find safe, reliable vehicles so the loan recipient can get to work daily.  We also  send the dealership a flyer for the program.  This is response stirs their interest.  We receive a phone call from most dealers expressing interest in making it on our list of preferred dealerships.  We do explain that our list is prepared based on customers experience and comments.  Upon their experiences we determine as to who or whom is placed on the list.

Everything else is verbal.
Thanks
Robin S

Subject: [WTW] request for information

Dear colleagues,

Many of your programs have lists of "recommended" or "approved" auto dealers
and mechanics. I've noticed that these lists can help make it easier for our
customers to find the cars they're shopping for, or to get them repaired.
I've learned that one of the major reasons for establishing these lists is
that, as we are doing so, we're establishing relationships with businesses
that will understand Ways to Work before our customers walk through their
doors.

My question is: For the programs that offer these lists, do you have written
agreements with  your recommended/approved dealers and mechanics? If so, I'd
appreciate it if you would e-mail me a copy via this listserve.

Thanks,
Dave Washburn
