Quick question:

I plan to use my Ultegra brake/shift levers on the new bike, but since
my Trek is carbon, it has a FD that is basically attached to the
frame.

>From what I have been reading, there is no issue with running a SRAM
FD with Shimano shifters. I run x7 shifters on my mtb, with an LX FD.

Can I get a double check, second opinion on this matter before I spend
the money on a SRAM FD?
