There is a MTB ride tonight at 6:30, if you want to come. It's fast, and if
you can't keep up, I'll stay back and ride with you.

I won't have time to ride with you on the road until Monday. But there are
others who might step up.

The roads are narrow, but drivers are usually nice. You can try
http://wvucycling.com/Rides.php and get an idea of some routes that are
good.

As for bikes, it'll depend what your budget is. $300, $500, $750, $1000?
MTB or road? There aren't many pro/high level teams here, but there are in
Maryland. Those bikes are in the $1000-1500 range for road. MTB has no pro
teams, just a lot of individuals.

Subject: [WVU Cycling] Usefull Advice

Hello
I'm Marco,and I'm a WVU student from Italy
One of my great passion is ride a bike and in my part of Italy this is
a well known sport.
I want to keep to practice ciclying, but I need a couple of advice
about Morgantown area.
In my country usually I did a lot road and a few times mtb, between
the two I prefer road, but looking at this great area I think mtb it
would be nicer too.

One of my question is about the road around Morgantown....
Where I live in Italy is a metropolitan area, and usually to have a
nice ride I have to go outside the city.
It's not so bad because with 10 miles I'm in a great area (hills and
flat) but sometimes deal with the traffic in the rush hour and a road
bike isn't so nice but is always risky!!
My doubt is: Morgantown is not so big but the road seems to me a bit
dangerous: not space at the right side and the drivers seems to me
that don't care too much about ciclist...
There are safe road for ciclyist apart the trails??

Another question is about the bike: unfortunately my budget is limited
(to be a student abroad is not easy) and the only option is about a
used bike. The trick I used at home is to buy used bike from teams at
the end of the season.
What are the options that I have to take a good bike for a fair price
here in US??
Thank you very much

Marco
