Great! After a week trying to figure out how to use my Nokia 6111 as modem on Solaris, I discovered WWAN. I downloaded the driver, and the phone was recognized automatically. I feel obligated to teel you WWAN not only works with EVDO, but with GPRS and EGPRS too.
Now, I'm trying to access phone memory (it's not being mounted, I suspect because it's serial, not a USB memory card, like a pen drive). So, I'll try with xgnokii (that I already compiled). If someone else already made USB Nokia DKU2 cable connected phone work like a pen drive, I'll be glad to know (specially, how to). Meanwhile, I'll thank you for making using my Nokia as modem so easy! Regards, Edson Richter -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
