Many tens of thousands of public and member-only emails, hundreds of pages of proposals, hundreds of thousands of hours of voice or face-to-face discussion, persistent monitoring of W3C and community email lists and Web sites, many thousands of hours of implementation experience among many different user agents, hundreds or thousands of hours of consultation with clients, hundreds of test cases, and thousands of pages of specifications.
