Yes, it is actually different. When I compiled wxWidget with MinGW, my
wxWidget application run so well in code::block. And another different is
when installing wxArt2D. If I use wxWidget compiled under MSYS, it is very
easy to compile wxArt2D. (I think it is because of wx-config)
but if under MinGW I have to edit findwxWidgets.cmake and
findExpat.cmakeand I got error in
gen.h when compiling wxArt2D.
It seems i am missing something, i always thought MSYS/Mingw was the same

Sorry I don't know the difference but from my statement above about
installing wxWidget and wxArt2D, there is a difference (it is easier under
MSYS). However, Is it possible to use wxArt2D library compiled under CYGWIN
with wxWidget compiled under MSYS/MinGw?
What is your interest in using Code::Block? Is it better then Visual Studio?

I think Visual Studio is the best IDE, but I can't buy it. I know I can use
express edition but it seems I have to download Microsoft PSDK first. It
will be a huge download. Unfortunately, my internet connection is not fast.
