Do as I do, build the wxwidgets svn head libraries, and then do a clean
checkout of wxdocview, then try and run cmake using these.

Nope, when I select debug, it correctly finds the debug folder, when I
unselect the debug option it correctly finds the release build folder.

I am curious too. I think I'll try a completely fresh chckout of both
wxwidgets and wxdocview and see what happens.
Could it be a problem with using wxWidgets svn head and not the 2.9.1
release?
