Not sure that there is not EVER going to be a binary wxMac distribution, but the only one that exists now are the versions that Apple ships with Mac OS X : wx 2.5.3 for Tiger (10.4) and wx 2.8.0 for Leopard (10.5)... I wanted a binary distribution so that the binaries would be smaller, and so you wouldn't have to instruct every developer how to build wxWidgets. Went with Darwin/MacPorts for a while, but that's taking time to fix too. So in the end I just bundled it with all my apps, like everyone else does. >> I have never gotten the default configuration to build, without >> hacking >> it. > sorry for that; without a mac nearby I have to fix the build system > "blindly"... Np, just some linking errors with the makefiles and shared libraries... Yes, the bundles look fine. Will give it another try to link dynamically, but I probably have to ship a copy of wxWidgets/wxSTC in every app bundle. Either that, or do a field test of the experimental wx.framework I made ? --anders ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
