These go outside of the wxstedit / wxlua "distfiles",
they are Portfiles for DarwinPorts (called by "port")

It is similar to FreeBSD's Ports or Gentoo's Portage ?

It's all fixed now, but needed to be patched for 2.8.0.0
i.e. when the 2.8.0.1 version arrives, it can do without

I've added them as "new package" requests to MacPorts:

You don't need / shouldn't add the Portfiles in the dist,
just figured they might be of some interest here anyway...
(and Francesco Montorsi took care of adding the patches)
