wxperl-users:
I would like to write Windows XP SP2 GUI applications using WxPerl. I
downloaded and have installed:
ActivePerl-5.8.8.822-MSWin32-x86-280952.msi
Wx-0.26-wxmsw2.6.2-win32-u-5.8.6.zip
wxPerl-0.23-wx-2.6.1-docs-html.zip
When I look at:
http://wxperl.sourceforge.net/
The current version of WxPerl appears to be 0.81. I am running WxPerl
version 0.26, using a wxWidgets 2.6.1 manual from June 2005.
I am aware that there are various Windows binary distributions for Perl.
In addition to ActivePerl, I also have a working Cygwin environment with
Perl. I haven't tried installing Wx under Cygwin.
Am I headed in the right direction?
