If you are trying to promote wxPerl, then, by definition, you are
looking for users who are not currently well informed. Your target
audience is not existing users who already found your wiki. Promoting
wxPerl means targeting users who have not visited your website, or who
are not sure that the project is actively developed or if anyone is
using it.

Let's take a step back and think: You want to make a list of products
that use wxPerl. The goal is to show people that wxPerl is in use.
Thus, the audience is people who are not sure that wxPerl is used very
much. It is safe to say that they are not familiar with your website,
and links that cater to them should be less hidden than links that
cater to people familiar with your website.

(1) I did not order you. I expressed an opinion. I said "I think you
should...". I think that this conveys opinion, not command. Sorry if I
expressed that point poorly.

(2) I have already offered to contribute, but I am not keen to have my
effort hidden in a place that is hard to find. I'm sure you can
understand that sentiment. If my contributions are hidden away, I feel
like I did all the work for nothing. I have both time and energy, but
I direct it to places where I feel that my work will mean something to
someone. I'm sure you can sympathize with that.

Best wishes.

Daniel.
