Hi Marko - thanks for the feedback. I've made several changes to the web page that covers our runtime here: http://x10-lang.org/documentation/getting-started/x10rt-implementations.html
Hopefully this is more clear and up to date. Can you tell me the other documentation that you have been looking at (PDF's etc) that is also obsolete or contradictory? We would like to keep these things up to date, so feedback is always appreciated. - Ben |------------> | From: | |------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |Marko Kobal <marko.ko...@arctur.si> | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |------------> | To: | |------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |Mailing list for users of the X10 programming language <x10-users@lists.sourceforge.net> | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |------------> | Date: | |------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |08/03/2011 09:17 | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |------------> | Subject: | |------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |Re: [X10-users] pgas_sockets X10RT Implementation | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Hi, OK, good news. This kind of message should definitely be given on the X10 homepage and in the documentation. I should also mention that the documentation for X10 is quite messed up; some pieces of information is given on web page, some through PDF's, many times in contradictious way. Someone should really put hands on the documentation and sort it out. There is very little documentation about it. I've found binaries at http://dist.codehaus.org/x10/binaryReleases/2.2.0/ and unzipped http://dist.codehaus.org/x10/binaryReleases/2.2.0/pgas-20110513-linux_x86_64 _g++4-sockets.tgz under my x10 installation. With the tgz there comes the libxlpgas_sockets.a lib, but there is no libx10rt_pgas_sockets.so. What am I missing here? Is there any detailed information about using pgas_sockets X10RT Implementation available?
