Hi everyone, I should just note that I have the exact same problem on a Macbook Air on El Capitan 10.11.4 (XQuartz v 2.7.9) to run some commands over ssh tunnel to a linux server. I actually use ssh to connect via ssh tunnel to two servers different servers based on what I am working on (both linux servers) and I get the same error with a slight variation of the error message. Please see the errors below. On the first server I got:
Xlib: extension "NV-GLX" missing on display "localhost:13.0". X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 150 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext) Value in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 24 Current serial number in output stream: 25 On the second I got: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 150 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext) Value in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 22 Current serial number in output stream: 24 So you can see that I face the same problem. I am really sorry that I have no way to help with this since I am still facing problems. I also use forwarding like ssh -Y user@machine with no luck. I use other commands with no issue. It would be very helpful if you could help with that since we are obviously unable to work over distance. Of note, I am not a root user in the linux server. Thanks a lot.
