Hello, x11-users, MBP macOS 12.6.7 (21G651)
The X Window System XQuartz 2.8.5 (xorg-server 21.1.6) © 2003-2023 Apple Inc. © 2003 XFree86 Project, Inc. © 2003-2023 X.org Foundation, Inc. I have installed XQuartz (X11). It works OK on my admin account and on Guest User. If I try to launch it on my usual non-admin account nothing happens. The only name that appears relevant in ~/Library is ~/Library/Preferences/org.xquartz.X11.plist If I delete that it comes back when I launch XQuartz, but nothing else happens. Any ideas to fix this? I have updated both XQuartz and Monterey since the problem first appeared but it persists. Is it possible to completely remove XQuartz, and al its tracks and reinstall?
