That's not the reason. I always run a "make clean-generated" before a
"make".
All other sub-targets do report one line per source file.

Maybe if you compile to empty/new folders everything is compiled, if you
recompile -- only new components. dHDR10 was without changes from some
time.

in a VBox to 16 LTS, re-installed required packages, and updated my
build scripts to native Linux AMD64 compilation. Compiling works well

Nothing serious, just a bit confusing while watching the building
progress:
All sub-targets of the CMake progress write an output line per
compiled source file (in green), only the sub-target dynamicHDR10 does
not (MSYS environemnt, GCC 6.3.0).
I wonder if it may be related to re-arranging blocks in the CMake
structure to maintain support of GCC < 6 (0f5d890).
