Hi all,
I can understand your considerations. Just to clarify on the last question: The organisation that is thinking about implementing x2go is a charity with the usual limited non-profit budget and they still have a couple of PPC/Tiger Macs around. Being a Linux person myself I have never done a build on a Mac, but maybe I give it a try... The other option I can see is to suggest to run Ubuntu PPC on these clients and build the client for PPC / Ubuntu - my guess is that this would make less problems.

providing PPC packages for Debian will be easy. For Ubuntu a bit more difficult, but still quite easy.

We should go this path... I will take a look...

Mike
