Hi there, I'd like to re-discuss our registration policy. While I do agree that spam is a problem, at least I refrained from fixing mistakes in wikis several times because the registration was too complicated, or because it took days to get an account and by that time my motivation was gone. Thus I like to suggest to reopen the open user registration. To limit the spam I suggest adding a captcha plus auto-generating the password. I'd be willing to take care of the spam.
