First hit when you type "Gnome" in the wiki's search bar is http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:de-compat?s[]=gnome And subsection http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:de-compat?s[]=gnome#compatibility_and_workarounds_depend_on_what_version explains which versions of Gnome X2Go is compatible with.
