Hi David, Firstly, I am sorry for a delayed response (because of net accessibility issues).
My version of Xalan Source code is 1.10 downloaded from one of the mirror sites. I also have a copy of the binaries downloaded from the 'Install Packages' option in Linux OpenSUSE. I tried running this file in both KDE and GNOME packages using the binaries I built and even with the binaries I downloaded, but it did not make any difference. I have attached the HTMLs generated by SimpleTransform on windows and Linux seperately. Please compare these two files and see the difference. Can you give me any hints as to what might be the problem?
