The cutover to DTM, and some subsequent adjustments of how DTM divides its addressing space, have changed if/when/where we run into the limit. It may yet change again; we're still deciding how to tune the new architecture. >A message like "Xalan cannot cope with >files of this size. An exception should now be thrown -- but you're right, it's just the DTM ID message, and I agree that a more descriptive text string would be desirable.
