Hi. Does Xalan use path based indexes for faster lookups?
If not, do you just evaluate the XPath expression one location step at a time, iterating across all children of the context node? Have you considered indexes and come to a conclusion? Any proposals for good indexing mechanisms? Thanks, Morten
