Hi, You could also use the viewResults utility to get a tabular report of differences between the two test runs. See: http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/test/run.html#how-to-view-results

Given the magnitude of your changes, I think you should run all the
conformance tests in the xml-xalan/test/test/conf tree. If possible,
run the set with the original code, then move the result tree, then
re-run against your patched version. Then you can diff the two result
trees en masse, paying particular attention to the "position" test
group.
