You mention xml4c_4.0, which is a Xerces library, not a Xalan library. Also, we do not support XML4C on Apache. If you are using the official IBM zOS toolkit, you should work through your official IBM support channel. We don't build those executables, and we have no way of debugging and/or fixing them.
