This is clearly stated on the web site: http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/getstarted.html#download You also need to have the Intel compiler installed if you are going to use the Intel distribution we provide. If you do not want to use the Intel compiler, you will need to build Xerces-C and Xalan-C from source using the compiler on your machine.
