Bug reports are not for questions, they are for bugs. You are trying to build Xalan using GCC with a binary distribution of Xerces that was built with the Intel compiler. This will not work. Did you even read my response to to your email message? If you build a version of Xerces-C using your local copy of GCC, you will be able to build Xalan-C.
