The same classloading code works for Xerces long ago without problems... Seems that Xalan team lost interest to quality of their product - no responses since three months ago... Since nobody care to solve problem globally I agree with you that it is better to get this fixed locally - at least one man will be hapier... But I care abaut general quality of Xalan, and notify that this bug could be fixed long ago before it is reported (and many other possible bugs which is not found yet).
