Please provide an XLST style sheet so this problem can be addressed. Also, perhaps this is an HTML problem and not an XHTML problem? I don't think that Xalan doesn't support XHTML at least not with: <xsl:output method="xhtml" .../> so I don't understand how this as an XHTML issue. A stylesheet would clarify this question.
