Using Attributes in an Extension Element Call

The getAttributes() method is not implemented on
ElemExtensionCall. Is there a way to get at the
raw attributes, or even the Stylesheet node that
represents the extension element in the stylesheet ?
Also what is the DOM Back pointer ??
