Hello Henry, some Oracle/Sun engineers are about to raise the priority of the corresponding JDK bug 6689809 and JAXP issue 60 of XALANJ-2438. They try to get my patch into the next Oracle JDK version. Therefore please check and confirm my result first, that my patch do not alter any of the 1762 output files of the exhausting Xalan XSLT test suite. Please post your results here or append it to any of the issue entries. Thanks!
Oracle/Sun has fixed 15 XSLT issues in the January 2010 release of JAXP (Version 1.4.3). See: <http://jaxp.dev.java.net/1.4/1.4.3/changelog.html> Which of these issues are already fixed in the current Xalan-J Subversion version? Has Oracle/Sun submitted patches for these issues to the Xalan-J project? There are also 25 tests in the JAXP test suite, which are failing with the current Xalan-J Subversion version. So there seems to exists 25 additional XSLTC bug fixes applied to the JDK Xalan-J version (see uploaded test result output in issue XALANJ-2438). Who is willing to analyze the failing tests?
