The page at the link above has been updated to include the Ubuntu 6.10 and Xubuntu 8.10 Live CD images. This page is accessible via the Xastir Main Page under the category of Xastir Software using the link labeled "binaries". Previously only the very old Knoppix CD's were listed there.
