Thanks Kurt, I confirmed Xastir was set per your recommendations. But I don't see anything in the APRS raw packets except the twice per hour beacons on igate.
Maybe that is all I should expect but it sure seems to me that I should see some of the traffic in raw packets that I see in the incoming data monitor window in Xastir. I'm looking at it with the TNC only box checked. To work as a digi of any kind you need access to the raw bits in the AX.25 header, which means either AX.25 kernel mode + KISS for the TNC, or Serial KISS Interface + KISS TNC. > And what is the correct startup and stop files to use?
