I've just downloaded the latest available source (via apt-get source) and in the process of attempting to build a version 1.9.8 for ubuntu lucid, I've just noticed that there is only 1 maintainer left in the Debian Hams Grp (http://packages.qa.debian.org/x/xastir.html) So I'm going to have a look at seeing if I can successfully build 1.9.8 and if that proves successful than make an attempt for 1.9.9
