Lee, I have found that one does not need the graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat and graphicsmagick-libmagick-dev-compat packages for XASTIR to build with _ALL_ options available. Loaded on my system are both graphicsmagick and imagemagick and other associated players. See screenshot of synaptic attached in direct to you copy of this email.
