I think he's using the UZ7HO Soundmodem program under Wine which is
reported to work. This UZ7HO program offers connected AGWPE support
where as Direwolf does not.
What's news here is that this user's CCW Messenger program runs under
Wine and works with UZ7HO also running under Wine. At this point, this
has nothing to do with Xastir.

Direwolf is open source and runs on all platforms. UZ7HO has a
waterfall but is windows only.
