Yes i have Xquartz 2.8.1. Your question triggered « ??? » since whatever OSX or Raspbian i always start Xastir via Terminal which launch Xquartz on OSX machines. Anyhow i went thru XQuartz-> Window -> Xterm and Bingo! it worked! Thank-you for pointing this out 😊 Meanwhile i am wondering why going via Terminal always worked for many years and thru many OS updates and not this time 🤔 > > Can you run another X windows program from the command line?
