Xastir has a lot of code optimizing it for low-bit-depth, low-resolution, small screens, like those on old laptops or touch-screen displays on mobile solutions.
I have noticed that on my screens (none low resolution), Xastir's display leaves something to be desired, in that the status bar winds up having fields that are too small for the text displayed in them. I was toying with the idea of tweaking that status line to try to make it use a larger fraction of the screen width than it does. See issue https://github.com/Xastir/Xastir/issues/284 on Github. So my poll questions: - What size screen do you use for Xastir? - What resolution? 640x480? 1920x1080? 4k? Something in between? - Do you use any of the non-default build options like "USE_TWO_STATUS_LINES" that are there specifically to support smaller screens? If you see a problem with any work that might get done in the future to tweak the status line, please go over to the github issue and comment. -- Tom Russo KM5VY Tijeras, NM echo "prpv_a'rfg_cnf_har_cvcr" | sed -e 's/_/ /g' | tr [a-m][n-z] [n-z][a-m] _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir
