Well, that's what I did, of course... I would have preferred an
option in Finder to show those hidden files. Guess I'll have to wean
myself off that nice friendly GUI! :-)
If you execute the command 'open -e <filename>' <filename> will be
opened in
TextEdit. Kinda handy if you want to edit <filename> in a GUI editor.
