Decided to try a different OS other than Slackware.
OPenMotif 2.3.0 configures & makes ok with Slackware. I did not install it
but I'm sure it will work ok.
With Mepis, cannot get the "make ' to finish. The following errors pop up, so
I'm <sure!!> there is a package or 2 missing, but I have no idea what they
may be. Can anyone help... I did check the distro and
the "/X11/bitmaps/gray" does not exist.
For what is worth, this Mepis is the easiest OS to install.. amazingly
simple.. Perhaps it's so easy is because there is stuff missing. The
package mgr shows a lot of "not Installed" files.

I never did try lesstif, but may if can't resolve this.
I would sure like to get xastir running on this OS.
