Do you have any contact info for KD2BD or a Splat group?
I have been using Splat! but lately am having some problems with the
some of the counties and cities .dat files.
The program hangs on the Tennessee counties files and none of the
city .dat files seem to work.

Of course! That's where I figured out my HAAT was something like
-450 ft at my house...
The author (John Magliacane KD2BD) has recently
released version 1.2.0b which now has support for generating
Xastir .geo
files so that the topo map output can be displayed directly in
Xastir.
That's really cool. I may have to play with that! As I recall
Splat wasn't that hard to compile.
