You need write permission to the _directory_ in order for the script to create a new .geo file there. The proper permissions on the files you list above should probably be 644 or 444 (-rw-r--r-- or -r--r--r--), but what you have is fine too, you've just turned on the executable bit for each but it won't hurt anything.
